CAD Designer

Primary Job Function and Objectives:
​
Design for wireless telecommunications facilities. This position is responsible for participating in and/or coordinating the activities of site investigations, gathering information from the client and municipal jurisdictions, code research, space planning, developing design layouts, setting up project-based plans, and preparing full architectural drawings on CAD.
The candidate will be dealing with architectural and structural drawings related to the design and development of wireless facilities including building design and building systems integration.
Minimum Education & Experience Qualifications:

Two years of related work experience including familiarity with construction documentation is required.

Degree in Architecture, Engineering or other related technical field is desirable.

Proficient in AutoCad applications.

Direct experience in the planning, design, and permitting of commercial telecommunications projects is preferred.

Working knowledge of building codes and standards, structural design methods, construction processes and methods, and strong detailing skills.

Strong organization and communication skills are necessary.
